All activities have been designed to provide visitors with as much information on some of the most endangered species on the planet, while adhering to international wildlife interaction best-practices.

WILD CAT EXPERIENCE

Wild Cat Experience
A guided tour will teach you about their struggle for survival in the wild and bring you so close to the furry felines that you will hear them purr! Meet the charismatic Cheetah and enjoy a cat and mouse game with South Africa’s seldom seen indigenous cats, such as the African Wild Cat, Servals, Caracal and the rare Black-Footed Cat. Experience the inquisitiveness of the busy Meerkats, watch the Blue Cranes dance and take pleasure in getting to know the marvellous Marabou Storks.

Forest & Fur Combo

This is a unique “forest and fur” activity! Book a guided Forest Walk through our indigenous Tsitsikamma Forest, a private forest reserve where historical logging paths meander past giant hardwood trees, colourful fungi and forest ferns in all shades of green. Look out for the red flash of the Knysna Loerie or the shy Narina Trogon.  The trail is approximately 2 hours, ending in a secretive forest glade where you will enjoy a picnic lunch before returning to the centre where you will be taken on a guided wildlife tour to see the indigenous wild cats of South Africa.
