Don't miss out on this magical horseback ride in the indigenous Garden Route Forests just outside Wilderness village. Novices and experienced riders are welcome. Each rider is paired carefully with their horse and the owner leads each outride personally. The horses are extremely well trained and personable.
Feel like you are an epic explorer or riding through a magical forest, the one and half hour Forest Horseback Ride is full of wonder. If you are lucky you will spot a Long Crested Eagle, a Knysna Loerie, Bushbuck, or even a Leopard. Meander through the forest on horseback and pay a visit to one of our spectacular Yellow Wood Tree’s (South Africa’s National Tree) that is between 300 and 400 years old. Marvel at the variety of trees, ferns, lichen, and mosses.
