Stand up paddling (SUP) is perfect for those looking to do the something different and fun without the dreaded “extreme sport factor” getting in the way. This is a great way to to appreciate the enchanting and tranquil beauty of the Keurbooms river. Swish past through the unspoiled heritage site of the Keurbooms river Nature reserve. It is easy for all ages to get into Supping and children are welcome. Before embarking on these sup excursions, a safety briefing and tuition will prepare everyone for what lies ahead

SUP through the deep ravines and into the indigenous forest of the Keurbooms river with the call of the fish eagle and the flash of the Knysna loerie overhead for company. There are a variety of indigenous trees around this stunning reserve to appreciate during your outing. From the majestic Outeniqua Yellowwoods to the Cape Beech. If you look closely you may even see monkeys and baboons playing in the treetops

The Sup river motor launch will take you on a 5km cruise up to whiskey creek where your guide will lead you into the non motorised zone of the  Keurbooms river. For the less active we do an afternoon/Sundowner champagne cruise, without the SUP addition.
