Swellendam Backpackers Lodge offer budget accommodation and is within easy walking distance of the local shops, banks and a variety of restaurants.
The hostel offers self catering facilities in a communal kitchen which features all the modern conveniences. You are also invited to enjoy a steak, fish or chicken, freshly prepared on the braai (BBQ) at 19h00.

The double or triple en-suite rooms are large, spacious and airy. There is a dorm room and four double wooden cabins in the large tree covered garden to choose from. Swellendam Backpackers also has Camping on offer if you would prefer to make use of your own tent, there is a camping area so large you may need a map or GPS to find your way around.

Double Room en-suite (#2): (Sleeps 2 persons) Very comfortable room with a double bed and a private entrance through leading to the garden.
Twin Deck Room en-suite (#3): (Sleeps 2 persons) Deck room with two 3/4 beds.
Triple Room en-suite (#4): (Sleeps 3 persons) Spacious room with a double bed and a single bed.
Family Deck Room en-suite (#5): (Sleeps 4 persons) Comfortable room with a double bed and an interleading door to a Twin room. Ideal for a family.
